What exactly is it that y'all are looking for him to say? I hear this criticism a lot, as someone who values the sound of music and the bars, I am curious what people who say this are wanting to be the topics/subject matter of a 2024 Drake project.

Drake has legitimate subject matter that is an accurate reflection of the life he lives.

The problem is he has stretched that subject matter over the course of 15 years and in the last 4 years specifically has dropped 6 f***ing times talking about the same s***. And that's not even to mention he's still on every 4th feature talking about the same s***.

It's not that he's not saying something it's that he's saying the same s*** we've heard from him a million times before and it is so stale and tired to the point that it feels like nothing.

I would prefer drake if didn't drown us with output and if he'd instead spend more time between releases curating a concise and cohesive body of work that creates a real moment in music and culture.

Everyone's lives are different. If his life is empty, but he's rapping about it, he's still telling HIS story. That's where I get mixed up when people say he raps about nothing but then turn around and say he raps about something, just his life isn't relatable to their own.
