I don't think influence has to come down to influencing individual artists
You can have an effect on the trends and sound of a genre and it is still influence
Influence doesn't even have to be based on originality

Juice wrld was part of a whole lane of drake influenced rappers, im not naming names because thats too easy to cherry pick and get caught up on the wrong point, but if you think one of the biggest rappers ever only influenced 3 people through his career thats crazy

I will say Drake’s influence on the game is interesting tho
Like I cant think of a 1:1 successor following in his lineage ie Travis to Ye, Tyler to P etc etc but I also think the game looks very different without him
