A lot of you are looking like lame ass dusty boomers with each passing day you are not taking the initiative to change your life

The mental gymnastics displayed by some posters the first go around in the spring was hilarious

Especially if you are a musician or starving artist

Are you still anti-NFT because you read a CNN/Forbes propaganda article? Or are you finally realizing that digital, provable scarcity is the future

This sale is for the full rights and sole access to the first audio sex-tape to be minted on the blockchain. Recorded in February 2021 by Azealia Banks and boyfriend, Ryder Ripps, this sound based artwork is sure to titillate for its full 24:22 duration. Upon purchase, a WAV file will be delivered to the buyer in addition to a 1 of 1 signed LP vinyl record. Full ownership, including limitless distribution and display rights are included in this sale. Don’t miss out on this historic & sexy event.

NFTs will allow for the nail in the coffin on ownership in the world. The only way to truly own something is if a) you pay an exorbitant fee and/or b) you buy it digitally which is inherently limitless in quantity. They try to make it scarce with some bullshit about it being original but its just another step down until we own nothing of the things we buy.

Its a complete scam and essentially the equivalent of beanie babies from the 2000s, any one who speaks positively of them already has a vested interest and is looking for profit. Its a receipt that says you bought the digital artwork, you don't even own it.

Anyone shills this crap is a grifter looking to profit from the stupidity of others.

Why is it anything like "beanie babies" ? Besides your lack of knowledge on culture, or "fads" it shows you have no understanding of base technology let alone a concept such as network effects

If you knew what "network effects" meant you could understand that these pfp NFTs that you think represent the entire technology are simply a coordination layer for likeminded people to move capital into assets they like

Much like Uber grows the more riders and drivers enter the network, NFT as a technology will scale as its adoption continues to grow

"Beanie Babies" Lol, are you a 50 year old NPR writer? You sound like some grandpa telling kids to get off their lawn when you dismiss an entire technology.

Why not compare it to "Pokemans?" Because you argue in bad faith

I'm sure if this was the internet in 94, you'd be complaining too

I don't fault you for being stupid, but having a loud mouth is actually detrimental to your own future. Remember that

Nice Lil B avatar btw, I'm sure he'd think your ignorant thoughts sure are BASED!

You can prove with cryptography ("signing a message with your password") that you are the owner of a digital item

It also allows to bring real world goods into the digital (create a digital token ID for the real world item)

Never before on the internet were we able to create provable digital scarcity

This has downstream implications for art in all forms as it allows the artist to directly interact with their fanbase, without a middle man taking a cut of the profits

What's fake about something that creates a technology that stops it from being copied?
