For me, planning and talking it out.
Planning worst, ideal, and best case scenarios and the steps to do after any scenario is met.
Talking to some of my most hilarious homies, them flaming me up until I start to laugh at myself or the situation.
Honorable mention: Playing some of my favorite pastimes alone so I don't get even angrier or depressed if I lose lol
Usually take some time for myself and meditate, workout, eat healthy and disconnect from people and social media for a week or two
Something that makes me feel like I've progressed after the end of it, working on something creative, doing something I've been putting off for a while, distractions can be nice, but feeling like you're moving forward is always really motivating
Ever since I realized harboring negative feelings is counterproductive and adds no benefits to your life I stopped doing it. That was back in high school
Just move on. Control what you can control and move on. If you made a mistake, learn from it. If things didn’t go your way then focus on how to achieve your goal instead of ruminating about how things went wrong last time. It does nothing for you.
I still get mad or sad sometimes. A half hour max then it’s back to reality
It’s all about mental fortitude and emotional stability. You’re in control at all times.
I start making positive changes that make my life a bit more clean and stable
I work out more. I clean the place.
Fixing your routine to more positive habits.
Exercise makes you feel better. Drinking water everyday makes you feel better.
Cutting down on unhealthy habits.
It takes time but it works
literally just chant mantras to myself
ngl sometimes it takes me a f***ing minute to get out of hard slump but when i do I'm damn near manic and get stupidly motivated to workout and do other stuff
I don't do anything I just wait until I randomly stop feeling so sad, otherwise I will kill myself
This is also important, honestly it sucks for people who aren't in relationships, but sometimes the best way to clear your head is to have a good, honest talk with Kanye's wife
work out hard, when im at my lowest i always end up improving and coasting on that high. I suppose it's like finding at least one thing to feel good about to make waking up worth it. Granted this process takes at least a month
find myself a project, start e-crate digging on discogs, or make music (ive been slacking)
last week i put an amp n sub in my car.
