Love Sampha he can sing but let's be honest now

Honest about what? Deserves to be up there with any current male R&B vocalists you can think of

Omg yall really proved what I was saying and these recommendations are tired and recycled ideas developed by the 2010s but watered down to a "vibe"
Like the girls are really the innovators of r&b fr.
I'm not seeing anything really outstanding, easily distinguishable, unique from the recommendations yall sent.
Thank you guys for coming through with some tracks.
The bar is really in hell fr

I'm talking in the entire r&b spectrum that's what I'm looking at.
His tone is beautiful and everything, but he really is vocally limited.

He needs to make more music like that his other songs haven’t touched it’s quality

I honestly want more to stay engaged. He's not consistent and hasn't distinguished himself fully yet but the vocals are top tier.
Reminds me of the 2000s r&b singers

PJ Morton's got that classic voice and sound. Omar Apollo leans into alt R&B / indie pop with a lot of his stuff. He started out heavily influenced by Frank, but he's a legit great vocalist. I've seen him live a number of times, and he busts out the range and vocal agility with no trouble

Keiyaa is traditionally neosoul but what unique about her sound is that she's really well versed when it comes to music, she adds elements that haven't been added to the genre before

I mean do I have to say much.
As much as her vocals are lowkey on her songs she can really sing.

I've been a fan of hers since he debut and she will be one of the innovators, based on her versatility alone.

Embaci will really carry the 2020s, she's the only one tapping into the new age futuristic experimental r&b sound. This girl is really magic

Same with mizan, her recent tracks have been really making me excited for what her project will be like.

The examples I've given you are the ones I see innovating and being recognized as such and there so many other girls really coming up with something different or really taking r&b into the new age.
Don't think they will be mainstream tho

Or you just dont wanna admit the genre you love has probably peaked and any idea you think that could be forward thinking has probably already happened

Or you just a complaining ass nigga. Most likely the latter
