Or you just dont wanna admit the genre you love has probably peaked and any idea you think that could be forward thinking has probably already happened
Or you just a complaining ass nigga. Most likely the latter

And Smino, Brent, Sir - all of them are fire
And Smino, Brent, Sir - all of them are fire
Nah i see what he meant with those 3
He talking bout SANGERS, those 3 either rap/sing, sing with autotune, or just not that compelling (brent only flourishes in sonder ngl)
Khamari cool. I don't know if you'd really call it sangin, but if you liked early 2010s era Frank Ocean type singing you'd find something to like about him.
But anyways:
JMSN
Giveon
Xavier Omarr
Etc. I cant think of much else rn but there are a lot more.

Omg yall really proved what I was saying and these recommendations are tired and recycled ideas developed by the 2010s but watered down to a "vibe"
Like the girls are really the innovators of r&b fr.
I'm not seeing anything really outstanding, easily distinguishable, unique from the recommendations yall sent.
Thank you guys for coming through with some tracks.
The bar is really in hell fr
This
Whenever Marco McKinnis decides to drop new music he's solid.
Col3trane is also very smooth.
Honestly you're better off listening to women for that kinda R&B you looking for. A lot dudes are incorporating autotune and/or rapping into their low effort R&B singing. There are definitely good ones who do the more traditional strictly sangin kinda R&B you're looking for, Leon Bridges is one I look to for that as a quick example, but overall they're pretty few and far between these days.
Drake, Future, and them set a blueprint and a lotta cats follow it because it's what the majority of what people seem to wanna hear. Which is unfortunate cause a lot of it is boring as f*** these days.

@op I definitely know what you mean about the โvibeyโ RB
Let the singers sing, and let the rappers rap. It's okay to not do both I promise.

Omg yes someone please tell them ๐๐
@OP fw any of these
Still have to listen to these and I will let you know
It's really getting sad at this point that the versatility in the male r&b sphere has been drying up.
The last quality run was the 2010s now the male vocalists can barely sing or can but have trash music.
Also the girls keep carrying the genre from becoming a memory but what are the guys doing?
If there are any new Male r&b vocalists that are amazing please reccomend.
***With great vocals and music***
So no brent
No smino
No Sir
And all their musical doppelgangers or similar
Also no autotune vocalists.
Wait are you a girl
Tbh what happened was good singers stopped making rnb so people started caring about vibes over vocal ability but now nobody has the vocal ability
And Smino, Brent, Sir - all of them are fire
Were talking about singing ability not which music is good or bad
If op dont f*** with dijon then he really just bitter lmao
boy i love dijon,
