i know this game gets hated on alot these days for writing... but i did really enjoy this at release and thought it was one of the greats after playing.
and replays the game still does hold up. very fun game.

the retrospective hate for this one has always been odd to me
Nowhere
Playing it for the first time since release rn
The world/environmental design/theming/writing is some of the coolest ever. I haven’t followed the studio, how come the creatives behind this never made anything else?

Great first playthrough, but the story loses a lot of its power when you understand what's going on

When I saw her necklace changed I got a bit less invested in the story
Although I mess with it more now, I can't handle playing the older Bioshock Games as I struggle to go back in tech (i struggled to play Watchdogs 1 after playing 2 first) but this game (+ maybe Deathloop later to a less extent) really made me enjoy this style of game
Can someone explain me why this game is getting revisioned nowadays? I remember seeing acclaim from everywhere, having a similar impact of TLOU, but lately the criticism been rising.

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmefiirV0JMStuff like this makes me realise this console gen hasn't even really begun yet
We still haven't really got a proper UE5 game yet

I f*** with its steampunk/surrealist setting, but it's not even top 50.
The o.g. "Bioshock" is where it's at.
Lowkey could never understand the appeal of BioShock games. Played the 1st one back in HS and it just bored me to death. I guess you can say I’m not to fond of single player FPS games
do i need to play any other bioshock games to play this

This is just my view but I spent pretty much the entire game clueless about what was going on before the 5 minute exposition dump at the end. The main thing the game had going for it was the mystery and after that's solved, I don't see much else that stands out. Guns and melee combat felt kinda floaty and it got repetitive with you taking down waves of bullet sponge enemies
Infinite was the first game in the series I played. Played a bit of the first one on PS4 a few years ago and I immediately understand why people were disappointed in the setting. I think that also plays a role in people hating it
