We were in my first grade class, they made an announcement over the intercom, there was a moment of silence, then we all went back to doing basic arithmetic and reading The Berenstein Bears.

I wish I remembered it more vividly... I can't exactly remember the details, but I think most kids didn't even really know what was going on.

I remember coming home from school (7th grade) and saw it on tv while my mom was cooking. Then she took me to the store and I noticed the shopkeeper was watching it too, as were a couple other people there.

Gym was my favorite class (no brainier), me and gym teacher was cool as hell

And we had that s*** first thing in the morning so I was pumped asfuck

But during gym they make an announcement that makes the teachers face go stone but we're in the gym mind you so the audio is s*** so us kids are clueless

I was naturally a bad and energetic jit, so I wasn't with the moment of silence and I asked if we could get started and bruh...

This man started telling n s*** turning redred, yolked me up by the arm in front of everyone and shoved me out the gym and across the hall into the office.

School was inner city so they're used to misbehaved kids but they were all too preoccupied, so I didn't get in further trouble they just sent me back to class next period.

I'm still unaware of what's going on at this point but in class they got the tv cart in the room, but it's the morning mind you, so you know when you see that s*** you just know your in for a good day at school n s***

I bust into the room on some I'm free s*** and everyones face was on scared and somber

Gym teacher is talking with my actually teacher at this point and they both yelled at while telling me what happened AND THEN made me apologize to the whole class for it. . . .

Lastly I can vividly remember how when they were passing out paperwork instructions on what to do in case of an invasion/turning the school into a safety shelter that the dicchead gym teacher deliberately skipped me

i was 10 years old i remember being rushed out of school with zero explaination why until i was walking to my house and people were screaming airplanes are flying into buildings. got home my older brother turned the tv on and we saw the destruction of the twin towers go down. they played/talked about that day for almost a month on every channel except the premium cable channels like hbo, shotime, starz, etc. i think i didnt return to school for about 2 and half weeks after the events crazy times that was.

3rd grade. they took us out of school and my parents dropped me off at my grandma house and she had the tv on cnn so i got to see the towers on fire and s***. didn't get to see them fall or anything because i honestly didn't care about all that at the time because as far as i was concerned, i got let out of school early so lets watch cartoon network little did i know the world was changed forever on that day

sheesh i thought the world was ending on that day.

Off topic but i’m not a religious person nor do I believe in Heaven or hell. But for the people that lost their lives in this tragic event I really hope heaven is real man not a single one of those people deserved to lose their lives the way they did and I just hope they’re all in a better place
