Honestly (besides the privacy issues) one of the craziest phenomena ive seen work in a positive manner.

I had a flight to Spain the next day. Saw the APK leak the evening before and told my friends to download it. Then we caught and fought some Pokémon in Spain when we were not busy. Had me running barefoot to catch a Dratini.

Remember it dropping on the first day of Taste of Chicago. Immediately installed it and f***ed around with friends eating from a bunch of food trucks.

Game really made me walk around more and in new spots. Kinda want to re-install.

There was this one hotspot in my city where the more rare Pokémon would literally spawn constantly. Was a dead end street a bit out of the city center, bunch of people would just pull up there and camp all day for the Pokémon. S*** got so bad, residents of the street filed multiple complaints to the municipality and were sending Niantics a bunch of mails to remove the Pokémon

House arrest. So I was just sitting in my living room catching Pokemon while all the homies was outside. It was cool whenever I had to check in, go to court, or go to work tho.
