Travis wouldn't even consider putting this on Astro
It would be scrapped immediately and would be the weakest beat on the album

Father Stretch My Hands Part 1 gave people religious experiences
maybe you mean Ultralight Beam?
maybe you mean Ultralight Beam?
Nah he’s talking about the beat drop with the Metro tag
Death Grips, M.I.A., Dizzee Rascal, and El-P are clearing Yeezus in their sleep
lol thats always been the dirty little secret of the album
Feedback, Highlights and Freestyle 4 really bog down the middle of the album
absurd!
feedback and freestyle 4 hard as BRIX, and highlights not even bad
need every bad b**** up in equinox, need to know right now if u a freak or not
TLOP has aged better and it's older too
I'd take FSMH Pt. 1 over anything on Astroworld
A filthy rich dork making "punk rap" by complaining about the fashion industry is just not what I want to listen to
If that was your takeway from an album with BOTL, Guilt Trip and HML there's no saving you. The only song that fits that description is New Slaves, and even then that feels like an oversimplification
maybe you mean Ultralight Beam?
I’ve heard both, tbh.
FSMH is less explicitly religious, but the intro and production during the chorus really gets to a certain type of person, myself included.
I’ve had days where I was just in an abysmal mood and acting in a way I knew I shouldn’t, until I remembered the fact that the song exists, put it on, and suddenly felt refreshed, positive, and ready to make God proud with my actions.
Some songs on Donda do that to me too

I'll take The Money Store, MAYA, Boy in da Corner, or Fantastic Damage over Yeezus any day of the week

youre the only power (power)
yooouuure the only power
oooh ooooh
ooh oooooh if young metro dont trust u imma shoot u
beautiful morning
I like High Lights more then Waves personally
Crazy to me but also I get it. I guess I feel like Waves is more "perfect" of a song like it just does exactly what it's trying to do and has no sharp edges sticking out but maybe isn't as "ambitious" while Highlights swings for the fences more although I think it's still a little choppy

I was lucky enough to see Ye live TLOP era, and the vibes and feeling of tranquility and togetherness with everyone else when this was playing was peak.
And then the hype after the drop
absurd!
feedback and freestyle 4 hard as BRIX, and highlights not even bad
need every bad b**** up in equinox, need to know right now if u a freak or not
Its not like they're bad they just always took me out of the vibe that tracks 1-4, and then Waves through the end, put me in
So if we're talking about what album has better production (I still think it's TLOP) I'm gonna be nitpicking
TLOP has aged better and it's older too
I'd take FSMH Pt. 1 over anything on Astroworld
Astroworld has always been overrated trash
not a single memorable song on there
it's the skitzo version of MBDTF for the streaming era
This is a weirdly perfect description of it
This is a weirdly perfect description of it
A genuinely more disorienting music experience than Yeezus
It's tough to pick anything over Travis' production because his ear for beats is always so good but Famous is ingenious, the type of s*** only Ye gets a hold of. That outro is one of the best moments of 2010s hip hop
I'll take The Money Store, MAYA, Boy in da Corner, or Fantastic Damage over Yeezus any day of the week
You can take whatever you want over it, I'm disagreeing with your description of it. I would personally take none of those albums over it, but that's just me. Maybe TMS on a good day
