cotton dockersI don’t know that it ever bothered me too much to begin with but I’m especially not bothered by it at this point. I get that it’s jarring (particularly for a hip-hop album) but it’s not like it isn’t an animal that’s butchered for food the world over. I know no animals should be getting their heads cut off for any reason but it’s also not two severed Golden Retriever heads or something.

sooo..I guess I can see needing 93 million miles of personal space from an image like that, but engaging with this album cover seems to me no more disturbing than a visit to one’s local butcher shop, and I don’t even eat meat like that anymore.
