    After Hours was the latest ‘MBDTF tier’ album we’ve had in the mainstream in terms of critical and fan reception, cultural significance, radio hits, aesthetic, dominance of its respective lane, and overall execution of the era itself.

    I lived thru MBDTF like allot of people did. I can’t imagine anyone habitually skimming thru Pitchfork waiting for a 10/10 to drop and forcing themselves to like that s***. I just can’t see your vision

    This is more so using it for validity which I could see Ktt nerds doing. I don’t think there’s any harm in this either when it’s actually one of the best albums in rap.

    To answer OP question, when I listened to Jay Electronica Act 2 leak, I felt that album could’ve been on that level bc it was really unique. Unique production and themes. It’s a shame it never materialized properly. I don’t think someone else could’ve made that album except Jay Electronica.

    This, jay (at least 2012 jay) had it in him to do so
