As an oldhead who remembers the whole 2000s, 2010s >>>> 2000s. Not even close. 2000s especially 2005-2009 was such a drought. Everything was either a remix of a 90s song or produced by Timbaland, Pharrell, Max Martin or Polow da Don. Constant wave of overproduced yet mediocre braggadocio. 2000s is easily the worst decade in music on record.
The 1980s exist
MJ and Prince besides Them it was

probably a similar amount
Looking at the tracklist TPAB has Institutionalized, You Ain't Gotta Lie, and the last track. NWTS has Pound Cake and 305.
They're both great albums don't get me wrong they're just not 10/10 to me
Man am i the only person that loves institutionalized
some of my fav lines there
You cN take your homie out the hood but not the hood out the homie
Gotta WASH YOUR AAAASS niggaa
Institutionalized is underrated as f***. Might be the worst song on the album but it’s still great. You Ain’t Gotta Lie a skip to you ?!? You tweaking
Mortal Man is a dope song but I don’t really play it and the second half is a one listen kind of thing. Pound Cake is one of the greatest instrumentals this decade and both rappers bring great verses besides some wack Jay lines.
I guess we gotta agree to disagree lol
Maybe I'll listen to TPAB again later, I haven't listened to the full album in a long time
2010s easily
Drake’s entire discog is full of classical content
Thug, Lucki and Carti too
Can’t forget Kendrick as well
All phenomenal artists & Black Kings
2000s are significantly better. Half the sht this decade aged like milk. Theres only like 4 classic rap albums this decade
2000s
Lowkey the decade when music peaked, most of the heavy hitters today stemmed from that time
i'd say this decade but that's just cause of streaming and how the internet has changed music. 2000's still got a ton of amazing projects
Teens of Denial is an indie/alternative album and I didn't include those. NWTS and TPAB both have a few skips towards the back half for me and Watching Movies doesn't.
Lol then ur certainly not the right person to ask this question
