i thought something was gonna happen afterwards maybe rollout for the deluxe or at least a new video

also i guess label basically stopped promotin the album at that point and it got taken off most of the playlists too

that performance was such a waste of time and money it did nothing for him

the label coulda had him perform stop breathing and create some more social media buzz and then drop stop breathing video after with deluxe announcement soon after that

If we don't start getting music videos once the deluxe comes out then somethings up. it's a terrible move, especially when songs like Stop Breathing and New Tank have potential to do something. Die4Guy could be an unexpected hit, that seems to be the most well-received song other than ILoveUIHateU.
Like I don't get it, a Teen X video could do great too and might make the song do more, people would probably make memes out of it cause of the ridiculous baby voice. and now he's down to 11 mill Spotify listeners. Label completely aborted promoting this.

slay3r performance barely got 300k views in a week too.

even though the album is out there sound wise for a bulk of the record, if they just dropped a music video for ONE song on here that wasn't m3tamorphisis, there could've been a clear hit on here.
the video is good, but it's a 5 minute song, nobody is going to watch that consistently compared to a 90 second song like New Tank. Would've been perfect too since that was a snippet people loved.

the m3tamorphisis video was more performative anyway, so Carti screaming for 90 seconds in front of a camera would be more memorable

honestly just from looking at the mess of a rollout back in november/december i knew the label wouldn't put much into the promotion of WLR. letting him drop it on christmas confirmed it.
