Im wit you, my homie has all the gas supreme x sport type collabs and some super old supreme hats from like 2011, the one that Carti had on in this pic, s*** too cold

All the popular street wear brands that popped off mid 2010s are ass now tho, its all the cheap designer s*** thats going rn Chrome Hearts n all that
I had the Supreme F*** Denim Jacket (literally bought it after seeing Carti rock it) That was probably my rarest piece
I rocked Supreme, Palace, Gosha etc heavy 2015-2017 until it very much all dried up and became super oversaturated
Was such a scene at the time though I can't lie, even camped at Supreme S/S16 opening in London and that was fun
Miss those days tbh, as you say, streetwear's kinda died off and high-end designer stuff is big now
I look back at those early Ian & Carti Supreme/Palace fits with a lot of fond nostalgia
Ian & Carti will forever be my favourite duo of all-time
I'm not too sure what kind of a relationship they have these days, but ultimately I owe it to Ian for putting me on to Carti in 2015 and their friendship is crazy sentimental

He changed his Apple Music background pic to him in a motorcycle helmet.
I think something is coming today.

Classic f***ing piece thats sick. I never was round at drops and s*** (they aint have those stores in the midwest like that
) but I do remember being on grailed or StockX tryna come up on anything I could mid 2010's. S*** seem so fun going out, waiting and praying you get what you want in your size from the drops, I used to do that for video games all the time when I was like 12-13 and used to have so much fun being hype in line. I remember I did the same for the Switch day it released wit my roommate and even tho we were out there for hours it was just pure energy and excitement all around

So hard to say, Ian seem closer wit Uzi now than anything but Ian burnt so many bridges wit the whole Mob and that was Carti camp forever so seem like its complicated. Regardless of people f***in wit Ian or not there'd be no Carti as he is today without em so you always gotta respect it. So funny that they linked off the fashion s*** and Ian had no idea he made music til they were already good friends
That rick interview like a couple first graders tryin to make small talk first day of class
Isn’t today Carti’s birthday? Maybe 09132021 was just for that lol
Rappers announcing their birthdays weeks before now?

I mean they are just humans at the end of the day, neither is overly social and its not like its a music publication this for, gotta just ask random s*** to get the feel on someone.

Yes, but why promo your tour that starts a month later and specifically drop todays date? I think we getting some news today regardless of a drop or not

I departed with it in late-2019, I had it for years I really loved that jacket but ultimately I was getting a bit too old to be out rocking a jacket that said f*** all over it
I remember I turned up to a pre-drinks in the first week of college/Uni with it on and lmaoooo people kept asking questions about it I remember one girl was like "what if a kid sees you wearing it" like wtf am I meant to say to that ahahaha, I guess you forget how when you are into something, that doesn't automatically make it normalised for others
It's just a sense of community tbf man, same as what this site does, everything is a good time when you are surrounded by people with the same interest as you, feels like a cult but in a good way ygm lmao
for recording artist he said michael jackson
for artist he said art dealer
i knew he was MJ inspired

Yeah the recent friendship with Uzi is defo unexpected but I guess they have always been in very similar circles the last few years
Fr though, as you've implied, Ian deserves a lot of credit despite him being ostracised these days
I know opinion on him is very divided, but if you were into all this in 2015 you know how influential he was, he was a crucial cultural figure in the 2010s
