I had the Supreme F*** Denim Jacket (literally bought it after seeing Carti rock it) That was probably my rarest piece
I rocked Supreme, Palace, Gosha etc heavy 2015-2017 until it very much all dried up and became super oversaturated
Was such a scene at the time though I can't lie, even camped at Supreme S/S16 opening in London and that was fun
Miss those days tbh, as you say, streetwear's kinda died off and high-end designer stuff is big now
I look back at those early Ian & Carti Supreme/Palace fits with a lot of fond nostalgia
itās all designer and archival pieces now virgil was right
Holy trinity is exactly it man
I used to f***ing live in those three brands (& Raf) in 2015-17
I turned up at DSM at like 6AM for Gosha S/S16
Yeah bro literally, man I can't even remember what the scandal was about off the top of my head it was so long ago, he was messaging underage boys wasn't he? Summin like that
Brand been dead ever since fr
I feel like Supreme x LV was a major turning point, that's actually kind of when I stopped rocking Supreme, the collab was such a moment but all of it looked garish n tacky to me
I departed with it in late-2019, I had it for years I really loved that jacket but ultimately I was getting a bit too old to be out rocking a jacket that said f*** all over it
I remember I turned up to a pre-drinks in the first week of college/Uni with it on and lmaoooo people kept asking questions about it I remember one girl was like "what if a kid sees you wearing it" like wtf am I meant to say to that ahahaha, I guess you forget how when you are into something, that doesn't automatically make it normalised for others
It's just a sense of community tbf man, same as what this site does, everything is a good time when you are surrounded by people with the same interest as you, feels like a cult but in a good way ygm lmao
Totally understand, so many tee's n s*** I never copped cause I knew I'd wear it once at Uni and prolly never it touch it as an adult. I can imagine exactly how that convo went down wit that girl
. I had a very similar experience wit my parents when I had a shirt wit some lean on it and had to explain what lean was and they gave me the wildest look.
Community 100% the key, got love for anyone who got similar passions to me even if they disagree and we got opposing views. Its refreshing in this day and age to have a way to get people to come together and connect instead of the lone wolf mentality that is the rest of the internet and s*** even public sometimes. So much division you gotta latch onto these communities that bring people together to share in things they love.
now one lives in his car and one lives in a mansion das crazy
One ALWAYS lived in the car, he never left, s*** gotta be pushing 300k miles
