Reality of most people’s lives is that your wife becomes more important than your mom in a way. I feel like most married people never really see their parents, check up on them, and things of that nature. You’re “supposed” to let go of your family and have that family of your own.

Why wouldn’t it be your mom? Unless she was some kind of bad parent

Most dudes would fix Situation A and let it slide for the time being, but wouldn't allow Situation B, unless they hate their mom.
