I'm talking March and April 2020. Like everything was just calmer somehow. Life became simple.
-with everything shut down, people found recreation in the simple things like going on a walk, playing board games etc.
-Streets were empty
-Air felt cleaner cause there is less pollution on the roads
-People really cared about one another and collectively stayed home for the greater good
-you were grateful for your family and friends being healthy and safe
-If you live with roommates/family, you were forced to become closer with them
It just seemed like a capsule of life that we will never get back again unless there is another global pandemic (which God forbid doesn't happen)
nah that s*** was ass
the nostalgia for me was maybe the first few weeks or month and then it became a hellscape
Not initially since my whole family had COVID a week before lockdown started and all you heard was people dying. Got used lockdown life later on and actually enjoyed it. One thing that changed after lockdown is I call my friends up alot more now just to catch up
I always do because it was a special time in my life where I was probably at my best mentally and accomplished a lot all at once
summer too was nice, lot less mfs trying to look cool bragging about how outside they were
I liked the empty streets but the rest of that is accessible without all the death and sickness lol
I did have a little weekly ritual with a friend during that time that i miss.
I feel nostalgic about your hypotheticals @op what happened
Having nostalgia for a time period where we literally had no idea if we were on the brink of a catastrophic event is wild lol

Humans are awful.
Terrible time but if you’re a square who doesn’t leave the house I’m sure you enjoyed it
