I always do because it was a special time in my life where I was probably at my best mentally and accomplished a lot all at once

I feel you because it was basically the same for me.

2020 was my calmest and mentally my best year by far after 2016. I had everything I wanted.

2021 and 2022 were pure hell for me personally and I still think both years made me seriously ill because I’m still struggling sometimes even though I’m doing much better with my new girlfriend and having great people around me

Man….hoping for the best for you brother, it’s the exact same for me. Early 2021 was great but then late 2021, most of 2022, and up until now have been a struggle.

    Things are looking up though

  • I honestly enjoyed it and kinda miss it haha

I'm talking March and April 2020. Like everything was just calmer somehow. Life became simple.

-with everything shut down, people found recreation in the simple things like going on a walk, playing board games etc.
    -Streets were empty
-Air felt cleaner cause there is less pollution on the roads
-People really cared about one another and collectively stayed home for the greater good
-you were grateful for your family and friends being healthy and safe
-If you live with roommates/family, you were forced to become closer with them

It just seemed like a capsule of life that we will never get back again unless there is another global pandemic (which God forbid doesn't happen)

This is the most introvert s*** ever posted

Terrible time. I think OP means well, but I am not even gonna front, I think the absolute worst of anyone who says that they enjoyed that period of time or feel nostalgic about it. You’re definitely entitled to feel that way, but I just can’t help but shake my head in disgust at such a sentiment

it was a novelty (because i was lucky to still be working) for about 3 weeks everything after that was horrendous.

living in a country that locked us away for the better part of two years the whole thing exposed how braindead and hysterical most people are. was barely a critical thought in sight.

The daily trump conferences where everyone would have a meltdown Miss those for real

  • Wasn't fun for me since I was working in a hospital and got pneumonia in the process from catching COVID. So many of my colleagues either quit their jobs in healthcare or passed away. Took us about a year to recover from the damages.

    I'm lucky to be alive.
