    There’s nothing artistic about doing a wardrobe change for every album as a gimmick while further and further delving away from what people liked initially about your music to make forever 21 pop ballads

    Finally a good thread, actually a difficult question.

    Commercial wise : Drake 100% because he has more broken records you didn’t even mentioned.

    Artistically : begin of the decade definitely drake with nothing was the same & take care but if we compare after hours to drake his latest work .. then we have to admit he didn’t come close to that in terms of quality , cohesive , production and sound.

    i think Drake did but the Weeknd is kinda in a different space. in terms of pop/R&B i would argue that he probably is the most popular male artist, similar to Drake in rap. Crazy to think that two of the biggest names in music are from Canada
