    Drake probably has the better numbers on paper because he's Drake, but in terms of what the year has meant for the artist? 2020 is hands down Abel's year

    From BBTM to AH he has been dropping more pure pop singles. Nothing wrong with it, most of those songs are good. If you dont acknowledge it you just lying.

    Trilogy>>>anything drake has ever done imo and the fact that Abel played a key role in drakes best project is another point for Abel. Its numbers vs subjectives tho. Even though they're close in numbers too

    Let’s be honest, kissland is better than any drake albums.

    Trilogy tapes and kissland put weekends discography above champagnepapa and that’s not even counting Starboy (a perfect pop album) and after hours which is the embodiment of synthwave and modern r&b.

    in fact, ya'll aren't ready for this at all but: the weeknd has actually made more R&B post trilogy

    most of trilogy was alt/indie pop and the only reason we call it r&b is because
    1) he's black
    2) so many r&b artists ran with his sound

    In terms of music : Abel

    Abel seems to be gaining more popularity in this current decade so I'm curious to see how big he actually gets.

    Not knocking Drake at all, because I still like his music. I just think Abel makes better music.
