I think people took this album for granted at release because it's not what people expected from Kendrick after the anthemic pop rap of the DAMN/Black Panther albums and/or because the heavy subject matter didn't connect with younger audiences; it will it due time though.
I don't see this argument. Forgotten in the same year it dropped but we are going to be revisiting it as a classic? You might as well be waiting for the world to start Heralding KOD too.
Nov 6, 2022Going w drake tbh. Listened to HNVM more than I did with MMBS, and can already see myself playing Her loss more, we'll see. And I much prefer kendrick but wasn't really feeling that album not that it's bad at all tho
