Why is it so hard to find a decent car?

All of the prices have risen since 2020 and they only want to sell pieces of s***.

    Vqbro

    -Fed increasing interest rates
    -Consumer demand slowing down
-New car inventory picking up at dealerships
-Used car market is dropping now

Start saving your cash and in 3-9 months we should be able to pick our fun cars for good prices again

Yeah.. I’m giving it until 2024

Anyone know why Ferrari is testing super low hypercars (new SP3 Daytona) on grassland? This is wild to see on IG.

I know manufacturers test their cars all around the world for temperature calibration, etc (Bugatti brought the Chirons to my home town in Arizona a year before release) but a 3 mill hyper car just 4x4 thru the forest is insane.

I seriously didn’t know where to post this. It would be great to see this thread popping currently talking about new models of exotics like the Revuelto etc.

Let me ask KTT carfam on some thoughts on this proposition. A friend of mine’s dad passed away and he had a low mileage 2005 BMW 325i that he babied, it got in a minor fender bender years ago but there was no significant damage. None of the kids want it so they’re gonna sell it, but my friend offered to sell it to me for $6k, significantly cheaper than what it’s worth.

Now, I drive a Camry. Reliable, but I’ve come to realize it’s too boring for me. I used to like driving my previous Corolla thanks to the smaller form factor, and likewise I drove an Acura ILX for a time and enjoyed that as well. From what I understand maintenance is gonna be much more, but for these older BMWs (E46) I’ve read that so long as you’re up to date on everything maintenance wise, you have a reliable car. WWYD?

    Are you keeping the Camry?

Nah, I’d sell it if I were to go for the BMW

im not super into bmw like that but those lower trim e46's like 325i and 330i are pretty bulletproof from what ive seen, i see high mileage ones all the time. just my 2 cents, obv do your own research before making your decision

Thank you! Thats exactly what i'm looking for

  • For those looking for affordable (not a track car). 2017-2020 Chevy Bolts can be had for only $8-12k (using the $4k tax incentive). They are reliable and as long as the battery was replaced you have warranty until 2030 … because its an EV there’s basically no maintenance costs other than tires

i stg if mazda doesn't build this or something based on it they're seriously missing the mark. we have a new supra, the nissan z has twin turbos again, and there's a new integra. its literally the 90s japanese scene all over again. imagine this with a high revving n/a 3 rotor and a 6 speed

s***, give it a small electric motor and battery like the corvette e-ray to get it to pass emissions, and design the catalytic converters to be easy to replace with a test pipe so the engine doesn't eat its own cats for lunch.

Mazda is never going to make another rotary. If you want a rotary youre better off buying an manual RX8 and keeping up with the maintenance.
