I've never felt like following the law or helping the enforcement of laws was important to my morality or my day to day life. With how f***ed everything is generally, I'm wondering if it's just me or if there is a sizeable majority of people who pick and chose what they try to do based off the legality of their particular geopolitical affiliation vs what they feel they can get away with.

I think people of every class and culture generally feel this way as default, or eventually become disillusioned with legality as a factor in why something is right or wrong to do. Does anyone feel otherwise?

Idk man half the time someone breaking a rule isn't even immoral it's just inconvenient

is there actually a name or word for people who feel that following rules is important, and key to their health/self interest/well-being?

I tried thinking of one to use for the thread title but the best i could come up with is "non-criminal", which seems weird if you think about it for a second

see, that's what im talking about, and why i made this thread. the only words we have for non-criminals are slurs in a way. i think the concept of someone who respects laws is inherently negative, and that those who profess to do so are f***in weirdos and not normal

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to one's will, within the limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law', because the law is often the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
