all artists that I enjoy & consider very solidified mainstream talents but are not the lyrical force behind their records
kanye wrote all of his best verses
at his absolute peak he was a better writer/rapper than drake

drake has a really good pen, thats not in question
the issue is that he gets credit for versatility which is actually usually just him getting sauce from someone else

Kendrick is very much apart of the industry.. for you to even say JUST Drake is apart of the industry is ignorant. Kendrick for sure plays into it.
