When you think of that group of artists in Migos, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Gunna, TM88, Southside, etc., you also think of Travis Scott, and it’s because he was placed around Thug and Quan and Migos during that New Atlanta renaissance and sort of was looked at like a weird cousin of them

TI gave him the initial push and the proximity to the southern artists and I guess the small amount of streets credibility / cool factor that comes with it, so his music could be heard by niggas. AS WELL as Kanye giving him the white people and white adjacents
