Nas was technically 90’s rapper tho

Yeah but you could argue some of his prime leaked over. Maybe not. Ice Cube and Snoop also had their last great songs in the early parts of the decade.

Yeah I’ll agree with that, I Am…Nastradamus leak that happened was C3 sessions level of goodness. Plus Gods Son and HHID were pretty good too imo

maybe i’m just old but i feel like coles still too young for legend status, i feel like you had to be around during or before early 2000s to be considered a legend in 2022

late 2000s/early 2010 rappers will need to wait till like 2030 to be considered legends (imo)

also, i don’t think cole will be considered a legend then, but he will be respected cause he is talented, even if he isn’t a lot of peoples cup of tea (mine included)

this isnt just for you but to your last point, y’all gotta put your bias aside man, regardless of if YOU went out your way or not when these artist dropped and had a whole era people paid attention to, if you’re wondering why so many people bring them up and their names aren’t forgotten in conversations… they are more than likely a legend

How old are you that Cole is too young? Aside from that, anyone who was of age/in college when Cole was coming up will argue his legend status cause his music was the soundtrack to a lot of their lives cause he was super relatable

It’s actually insane how much kids STILL look up to Juice

  • Jun 16, 2022

If Juice & XXX get deemed legends in 20+ years it’s definitely them too. Literally only cause they died

I guess he’ll be a legend to them, but to me he’s just unrealized potential

Like I said tho, I think he coulda been something. He was definitely different

fair point too, that’s what makes it so hard for a definitive list sometimes because everyone has a different opinion lol

He’s a legend for his presence in the game/culture not for his rapping abilities

Agree. Both him and X stuck with kids heavy despite not being around too long. Interesting to see
