how’s that any different from how nearly every pop hit of the past 50 years has been handled?
only difference is the hundred remixes used to just be included on albums as bonus tracks, but in this case, LNX is releasing them pre-album

Very true. My problem isn't with remixing. It's the execution and how it's done and how it comes across as a blatant ploy to be increase streaming. Some of my favourite songs in electronic music are the remixes.
