can everyone take the vaccine though?
Like what about pregnant women for example (I genuinely don't know)
The CDC says it’s perfectly fine for them, even tho I respect if they don’t want to because I would be scared too
its for people who aren't/can't get vaccinated ffs
I understand this and although sometimes when in public places I still wear a mask even though I’m vaccinated so I try to do the right thing, how much of a percentage do you think are people who don’t/can’t have access to the vaccine as opposed to the people who have just decided not to get it? That’s pretty much my assumption is if you want it you’d have it by now so it is what it is
the Delta variant is scary to me because I'm in Toronto. The vaccine rollout here has been awful until recently. I only have my first dose, but my second isn't scheduled until September. That's a long f***ing wait considering one dose isn't entirely effective against Delta.

i dont know and i honestly dont care. if someone chooses willingly to not get it, its their mistake, but that doesn't mean they are less deserving of health

why tf did they schedule it in September?
you realize it's because the vaccine helps prevent you from getting sick, but doesn't prevent you from spreading it to others, right?
it doesn't 100% prevent the spread no. but no vaccine does that.
it does reduce the likelyhood of spreading it tho
gavi.org/vaccineswork/mounting-evidence-suggests-covid-vaccines-do-reduce-transmission-how-does-work
immunisation with either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine reduced the chance of onward virus transmission by 40-60%. This means that if someone became infected after being vaccinated, they were only around half as likely to pass their infection on to others compared to infected people who weren’t vaccinated.

Yeah I can agree. My gf doesn’t want to get it but I’m vaccinated so I’m a lot more liberal when it comes to walking around without a mask or whatever and she always gets on me about it but like I said we both made our own personal choice

I swear for everyone it's one or the other. It either has to stop it completely or it does nothing at all. Mfs can't f***ing read.
mfs that got the vaccine and swear they can't get covid/refuse to wear a mask in public anymore just as bad as covid deniers.
why tf did they schedule it in September?
Cause Canada is f***in' dumb when it comes to acquiring Pfizer and Moderna

i cant blame them because the vaccine messaging in the media and by politicians is god awful
niggas are deadset on eradicating the virus completely which just isnt gonna happen
Cause Canada is f***in' dumb when it comes to acquiring Pfizer and Moderna
you should be able to reschedule it earlier now
you should be able to reschedule it earlier now
I can reschedule it as of tomorrow - my initial appointment was super late cause I didn't do pop-ups. Still a pain though, the system is still garbage even if it's getting better.

Bro you might have to hop the border into the states
Here You can walk into walmart with no appointment and get vaccinated
Canada is folding
Nigga here in the US fiends on the corner off dog food are selling vaxxes thats how common the s*** is
The fact that its taking so long to offload the excess vaccines is ridiculous
Isn’t this less deadly but more contagious? Excuse me if I’m wrong.
More deadly and more contagious, you’re fine if you’re vaccinated tho.
I’m not vaxxd but I still mask up and sanitize all the time. I caught it before it was declared a pandemic and have held a pretty good natural immunity against it while working frontline this whole time.
Isn’t this less deadly but more contagious? Excuse me if I’m wrong.
More contagious but no consensus on deadliness
I’m fully vaxxed. At this point I don’t care. Been proven to work against the variant so I’ll continue as I am.
im just saying that cause I have my first vacation in 3 years planned for end of august
