how is it a scam. didnt he say safety nets would stay? I'm not pro UBI btw
he specifically said on Dave Rubin that was his intention. His way of trying to enact UBI in NYC won't grant him the power to do so but its is enough of an indication of his conservative accommodations as if his stance on Israel to cater to NYC zionists and his stance on homelessness to cater to families in high rises wasn't enough

I expect a politician to be at least operating from a foundation of broad-based social justice and economic reform if they want my vote. Andrew Yang does not cater to that imperative.

is how I'd do that mayoral ranking. If you're looking for any suggestions as to who you should vote for as it relates to other positions on a city-wide or district level, I'm happy to help you out cuz I look at and campaign for this stuff all day.
That goes for all fellow NY-ers ITT too

Lowkey been busy fam so I haven't been able to look at anything.
I was initially prepping for the mayoral ballots like earlier this year (February?).
Now I'm out of it. Throw some names out for City Council District 12 and the rest.
Also Bronx Borough President
I give it a good bit of research and skim the others and then narrow it down

good night for the left overall. big night for buffalo. I'm not holding out for a Wiley miracle via absentee ballots but at the least Adams will be met with a council that has moved significantly further left.

eh Bloomberg and Guiliani have both been Mayor the city can survive a lot
Guiliani made the city a good place to be tbh, Eric Adams winning shows how much the populace feels the opposite of defunding the police. Crime been up like crazy this year but atleast Nyc will start the process into becoming safer to visit.

To be fair, Yang ran a campaign that was also centred around being “tough on crime”.
