2000s Hip-Hop vs 2010s Hip Hop. Let’s say for the sake of this contest it was a 30 song limit from any artist as long as the song was made in that respective decade. Been thinking about this for awhile as it seems like a cool concept

I got 2000s hip hop btw

mid/late 2000s rap hits are mostly trash so 2010 could win

kanye, wayne, jay and ti would have to carry post 2006

I can see where you’re coming from but I think it depends on what songs are chosen. I don’t think any song from the 2010s could see something like Yeah! For an example

2000s would probably include a large amount of R.Kelly features.

    So 2010s.

    Generational divide.

Definitely would play a factor. I like to think that most people on here were around for at least some of both so I’d think it could be somewhat objective

Both decades have lulls in quality and tbh could be my age but I have a soft spot for ringtone rap I think it’s a lot better than some of the SoundCloud rap that gets gassed on here but ya know

I definitely prefer 2010s albums wise but hits/singles wise I think 2000s would win
