tomorrow volverseTo be fair Durk has more impact on the industry bc the industry is based on connections and Youngboy has never been one to mingle with rappers. He was like 16 or 17 when he popped and already had the attitude of not reaching out to people for features.

Hmm I would disagree. That may be true if we are comparing relationships and industry friends. Durk started getting notoriety around 2012/13 and helped create a new genre and is considered a pioneer in the drill movement which has spawned imitations across the globe. If we poled many active rappers Durk would be listed as an influence.
YB influence has not been truly felt yet. The next batch of rappers getting out of high school may chalk their influence up to YB though. However, at this point we cannot say YB ushered a new sound in.
Durk is a solidified OG and pioneer.
