Is this something that can really be quantified?
Shut the f*** up with your nerd talk
Is this something that can really be quantified?
virtually everything can be quantified though
Any drill or street rap album that has came out this year has been influenced by 50 Cent.
That piss-poor Yeezus album ain’t outweighing all them records
this is true & an overreach at the same time
Gucci’s the greatest A&R in rap history
that label is cursed
but the artists are fire
Both Equal tbh
This topic is pointless. All it does is prove that music today sucks & everyone misses nostalgia which is why most rappers today are sampling early 2000’s music like crazy but in a lazy effort
Carti, Drake, Cole, Travis, Peggy, Bino, Tyler, Chance, Keem, etc.
The biggest rap album this year is heavily Kanye influenced.
50 also influenced drake and cole tho they said it themselves especially the melodic hooks

Your post is by far the most pointless thing here
Pretty dumb question and anyone not saying Ye is pretty dumb also
Most people have selected the biggest rapper that has ever existed besides Eminem over the Naziboi
Do you have an argument to back up your claim or just more pointless weiner waving?
That's tough but 50 cent literally inspired gangster rap that is currently being played right now
In fact, every gangster rap artist (post 2010) would cite 50 cent as one of their biggest inspiration including Chief Keef, Durk, Pop Smoke, YG, etc
Kanye however has inspired Drake, J Cole, Cudi, JuiceWrld, Big Sean, etc
All in all, this is a tough question. Both are incredibly influential. It's purely subjective at this point.
Both are also 2 of my top 5 fav artists ever. In fact my 2 fav albums of all time are Graduation and Get Rich or Die Trying.

Add YoungBoy and King Von to the street rappers and also 50 influenced the guys you listed for Ye

No young person listens to 50 Cent in 2023 he's an Instagram comedian at this point. Not discrediting his work but I promise you no young person sees any heritage on any "street rap" from today as stemming from 50. Ye has people even outside of hip hop citing him as an inspiration. Ye has rappers wanting to do deals with brands. Ye has people wanting to be real artists. Ye inspires producers like myself, not just rapper and wannabe gangsters from 2005. Ye had ppl wanting to be fly and literally inspired an entire wave of ppl wearing Chelsea boots, Visvims, Polos etc. all in different eras and then made ppl lining up for his shoes which looked just like Roshe Runs at first but then everyone forgot about that bc it was Yeezy. Ye has ppl like 070 Shake, Travis, endless artists basically on a clear lineage from his sound. Ye inspired a whole sound of soul sampling. Ye made ppl wanna be more than rappers. Ye made a bald b**** from the hood a s***symbol that every person wants to f*** and made a lot of other celebrities. Ye has SNL skits that even to this day if they made one referencing something he did everyone would understand even white people. Ye has ppl using autotune in an artistic way before it was cool to do. Ye made it cool to be yourself which made way for the biggest artist in hip hop history rapping and singing.

I read your first sentence, compartmentalized you as a reetard, and proceeded to not read the rest of that swine flu s*** that you sprayed out your fingertips

If you ever go outside you'd know Gen Z doesn't listen to 50 they listen to Lil Durk etc. while Kanye continues to directly influence 14 year olds. And I guarantee you Lil Durk himself will tell you he saw Ye as an influence being from Chicago moreso than 50
