its still drake
Maybe in numbers but, otherwise, not even close.
Drake is a studio singer and a mid dancer. His rapping and harmonizing is dope though.
And, even if we go by the numbers, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift are closer to MJ in that department. And Abel currently has the most monthly Spotify listeners atm.
No one @op
Now can we stop this f***ing debate? Because none of these niggas can come close to the impact or the quality he put into his art.
Neither.
But it’s impressive how the Weeknds impact kinda solidified.
He came in on that experimental r&b s*** alongside Frank back in the 2010s and stuck around longer than anybody in that scene, notched up a bunch of hits, then reinvented himself and kinda was the first one on this 80s revival s*** everybody doing.
Bro went from being a near OVO signee to performing at the superbowl, headlining tours, getting his own HBO series.
I would’ve never guessed he would’ve took it that far lol
In comparison, Chris has a solid career in his own right for sure but he should’ve been way bigger than he was
CB literally dances like MJ
This aint the 80s brother, no one is trying to watch a man dance
Or even watch music videos for that matter
Both CB and Weeknd are about the same age so I just looked up what MJ was doing at that point of his life.
It was 1991 so he was releasing Dangerous and debuting the new short film on prime time TV to 500 mil viewers
Y’all funny thinking there’s a next of that lol.
