i've always noted how rappers always rep bloods, wayne, birdman, 6ix9ine, boosie and the game, (more than i forgot to mention)

but you rarely see rappers repping crips, why is that?

I saw Ice-T speak on this in an interview once.

He says theres waaay more bloods than crips because anyone the Crips considered their enemies they called them 'bloods'.

So they effectively created tons of different factions of bloods by doing that lol.

He also stated that a distinct difference between bloods/crips to this day is that Crips always have the word 'crip' in their gang name where as bloods typically dont.

example: rollin 60 CRIP or Hoover Crips

Fruit Town Piru or Hawthorne Piru

A lot of places outside of Cali that have bloods/crips were initially created by those gangs for the purpose of expanding on their d*** territories. They'd have family/friends in other states and make them part of their gang officially to expand and have more reach.
