That's on them!
I don't blame people who don't really care lol. You don't realize how big a deal it is until an artist you follow closely is directly involved in it.

What he said is true for all artists not just hip hop
And no the "We blackballed him because he's a piece of s***" will not become anything more than that. Infact, you can find way more examples of people getting black balled for "exposing shady industry practices and sexual abuse" than there has ever been people getting blackballed for being s***ty people. There's a clear difference between the two, and one is more justifiable than the other.
Y'all really need to stop tryna find ways to defend s***ty people when the industry rightfully turns on them. Why y'all are suddenly making such a fuss over trash people basically losing their jobs I don't know, an extremely easy way to avoid that is not being a s***ty person.
We can all agree that people who get blackballed for going against the industry and exposing its bad dealings is wrong. That's when it is very f***ed up, and really does nothing more than prove the point of the artist who was blackballed.
Please stop tryna find ways to equate niggas like 6ix9ine, R. Kelly, and Tory Lanez who got blackballed to niggas like Lupe Fiasco, Jeremih, RA the Rugged Man, and even Kanye West (When they tried to with the George Bush thing) getting blackballed.
.
not sure why people say these things if you on a platform you play by their rules. can't act surprised when you are removed or banned.
the super right wing political crazies are saying the same thing when they get banned on youtube
