I think you have people who probably are right wing but aren’t open about it (Vince Vaughn, Bill Burr) that are funny. I think People who are left wing are more likely to be open about it. Then, type left is less restrictive in what they’ll make fun of to an extent. Look at Neighbors 2 which was a very liberal comedy, or book smart. They can make s***and d*** jokes and use vulgar language and not be hypocritical. They’re only restricted by political correctness. The right is basically PG.
