its not any specific instance in mind, moreso just a general vibe because ive often seen women singers who do hooks not be listed as a ft in a track title whereas when men do the same thing ive seen them listed much more frequently

sometimes they provide vibe and are more background noise.. also, popularity.. fans will see a chris brown has a song with this no name person and be turned off... it's marketing

Aug 21, 2020seems to me that it's just up to the artist's discretion. some people list no features at all, some people list them all. sometimes it's a duet in the artist line as opposed to a feature in the title line. so on and so forth...
it can be odd when an artist is heavily used in a song and not listed. but there are instances of it happening with both women and men. i don't think it's that deep.

Interesting I personally havent notcied this but I also dont listen to many artists at a time so Ive never really seen a pattern
