Is it just hipster mentality, seeing as how it was so successful? This album isn’t by any means “generic top 40’s pop” and is a helluva lot more interesting than most pop music being put out at the Weeknd’s stature in the industry.

It’s nothing compared to Pop 2, you correct. If only we lived in a world in which Unlock It, Backseat and Delicious came on the radio. The general public not ready for it tho. I also feel like Weeknd’s music is a step in the right direction for a world like that too
