unfortunately a lot of them just aren't considered top tier rappers outside of Their generations
& that's great bc most of them don't want to be
not many of today's rappers seem to care about making great albums
there's a few i see on that path tbh but not many of today's rappers have contributed a whole lot to Hip-Hop if you ask someone in their 20s like most of ktt2
Polo G in the running
Smino if he counts as a rapper
Uzi
Kevin Abstract
EST Gee
Kenny Mason
Maybe Yachty
Yachty definitely contributed a lot
Him and Uzi probably up there for being the most influential 2010s rappers
Hmm, suprised Earl hasn't been mentioned yet, he's the only artist who dropped they debut in the last 10 years I can think of that should seriously be considered.
Imma sound old, but these new niggas don't got it like that. But hey, that's what we get when every mf is an "artist" not a rapper.

Earl isn't a new school rapper he's got a decade in the game
Plenty of people mention him as a major influence
Maybe he's not in the goat conversations because his music isn't really accessible or relevant to people who aren't big on lyricism. lots of people don't wanna hear lyrical songs about depression and pain, but skill wise he's up there.
op so old he still thinks sex, fewtch, drizzy, kdot & jermaine are the new school

Actually I don't. Most GOAT list top 20 are usually 90s and early 2000s rappers. Just a fact.
