also the biggest thing that hurt him was not somehow going to Atlanta, linking with Thug and finding his sound among the Migos, PeeWee, Thug, RHQ, etc. class...and through Thug + Rich Gang he would have reinvented himself for a new generation the way Birdman kinda did with Wayne post Hot Boys and then with Thug and Youngboy. Imagine Wayne tapping in with all those producers and videographers he coulda had a second tape run this decade. He didn't and while he's still respected, his most recent moment of infamy is the 07-11 run and nothing he's done this decade which is kind of when artists move into that legacy category and no longer being in the current convo.
