Goo not gonna like this one
You're damn right I didn't like that trash ass nonsensical post
Wait I might be wrong I think that was what Ye did for the Teyana album nvm

Started the album with the wrong track (Bonjour should've been the intro), Cops Shot the Kid and White Label beats were bad, Everything hook repeats too many times. Also most tracks just sounded like unpolished demos.
simple things > kings disease
The Cure
10 Points
Car #85
Full Circle
All Bad
Etc etc
Yeah wrong
Kings disease a return to form but life is good is the superior album and will forever be recognized as the time nas tapped into his second prime and could hang gracefully in a decade where some would assume he would play a more spectator role

Untitled as well as the mixtape that accompanied it and Distant Relatives were already all quality projects and he was on a great feature run leading up to that album

UNTITLED SUCH AN UNDERRATED ALBUM I could never get into hip hop is dead tho for some reason
One was rushed to fit Kanye’s Wyoming EPs rollout, the other was more of a collaborative effort with the 2 feeding off each other

HHID had some great standouts. The concept alone is endearing. But it's a mid tier Nas album at best.
Nasir and Nastradamus are his only albums ever that don't have a dope theme or concept.
@Kr0niic and the s***posters who liked his nonsensical post should be ashamed
Nasir actually had an interesting concept but it was very underdeveloped and Kendrick did it better with DAMN

Do you feel like untitled is nas most ambitious album concept wise?

The short film made me appreciate the album

Yeah probably. People weren't ready for it. If it came out after TPAB it would've been critically acclaimed.

Interesting take tbh I mean the music and subject matter was phenomenal but the title and rollout is probably what turned a lot of people off but I thought that s*** was bold especially during the time he did it I think it would’ve been respected if he came into the 2010s with that energy with albums like black messiah, undun and tpab being out

For sure, look at the acclaim Common's Black America Again album received off the strength of TPAB:

The media had a demand for "pro black" albums at the time. After that Common went back to not receiving much recognition for his works sadly..
