I think the problem on Nasir weren't really the beats. Kanye just mismanaged that whole Wyoming era. Daytona, KTSE and KSG were mostly finished before the start of the whole era. Then Ye decided to scrap his album and made a completely new one in 2 weeks which took time from the Nas project.
I didn't really feel the confidence of Nas while he was rapping on these beats. Like he had only 2 days to do all these verses.
