Because NASIR was a rushed project that Nas didn't put his time or energy into. You can tell he just didn't care about that project.
With King's Disease, you can tell that was his REAL proper studio album since "Life Is Good" back in 2012. He was doing all the promotion for it too, hyping the album up. He didn't do none of that with NASIR.

Production was good, but Nas rapping was mid at time. I think there were just super disjointed whereas with hitboi it was more collaborative
