She was horrible in both Inception and TDKR with her dead eyes and emotionless acting.
Wtf was Nolan thinking casting her
I liked her in Inception (She gave off a creepy vibe that worked for the memory of a dead wife)
didn't like her in TDKR
She was definitely miscast in TDKR. Bummer cause Talia is a great character in the comics & cartoon.

Nolans Bane was an odd take too. Not complaining but the whole burly white Spanish circus strongman s*** was... odd

What are some movies she is good in? Interested to see what Nolan saw in her
Rust and Bone.
I always thought she was a good actress. like she said in the video above, in a weak performance the blame can often be shared with the director and writer

Final villain should have always been riddler. Bane was such a weird choice. He's barely a three dimensional character. He's just fodder in the comics

Her finest performance is Two Days, One Night
but she is also fantastic in The Immigrant and Public Enemies
I also hear good things about some of her roles in French films like Love me If you Dare and La Vie En Rose

TDKR has its pros and cons but this is one thing that never made sense to me either. Last film in the trilogy and you don't go with one of the AAA villains? I understand doing something different but to cast Tom Hardy as Bane and when he's shorter than Bale is so odd lmao
Still feel like she was miscast in Inception just seeing how Elizabeth Debicki ethered her with a similar Nolan role in Tenet.
