Since OP is playing the generalization game... from my experience, Indians are by far the most racist ethnicity on this planet, and this is the stuff what you come up with? Like someone said on page one, make a thread of why black people hate whites and asians and get your racebait perma speed run over with

Black people always getting scapegoated for racism, please go back to reddit

Yall Indians in America gotta focus on getting your cousin back home in check. The sexual depravity amongst Indian men is utterly deplorable. It's crazy that child marriage still exists over there

    To clear some things up

    • I'm not trying to generalize all black people this issue has just been exclusive to only black people in my life. I realize that other races could be just as racist towards Indian people, I'm just surprised I see it with my own people.

    • If this was isolated to just my family I would definitely deduce that it's a familial issue.

    • I'm just trying to understand why another POC would hate another POC with seemingly a lot of parallels in their culture

    • I realize Indian people are capable of hating black people. I just didn't want to talk about that because it's not my experience.

"I'm just trying to understand why another POC would hate another POC with seemingly a lot of parallels in their culture" oh brother I knew I smelled the reddit from you a mile away.

Please, tell me, what "parallels" do you see with black people and Indians? While Indians are diverse and large in number, they are an ethnicity while black people aren't. The similarities pretty much end with similar skin tone. White people and black people are culturally more similar than Indians and black people. And the reason why people are treating your thread like s*** is because it's clearly phrased like racebait and you're more than likely concern trolling

Just speaking about stuff I see in my life man and it's so prevalent I assume it might be in others. I know not all black people are racist towards Indians and didn't mean for it to look like a generalization. I'm just wondering why a black person in my life would be capable of being racist towards Indian people. I've never had an Indian person treat me differently or heard them be hateful and maybe that's why i'm just so confused. I've also never really had an Indian friend so I don't know what they say behind closed doors. I don't want to make a thread about white people, thread was made because growing up I never saw any controversy between Indian and Black people and these Indian comments are all new to me. I didn't want to make a thread on Asian people because that's not prevalent in my life.

I'm not concern trolling and have actually learned a lot from everyone's responses. I've learned there will always be racist people in life. I've learned about Indians and white assimilation. I've learned about anti-blackness in the Indian community. I've learned a lot of black people don't experience their peers being racist towards Indian people and could care less.

I still don't believe you posted this in good faith, but I'll play your game.

Whatever you go through in life is what you go through. This is known as anecdotal evidence. This is fine, but keep in mind that it is not based on fact, and people who use personal experiences to generalize are frequently acting in bad faith. Further, correlation does not imply causation. Just because there have been several incidents of black people saying something racist to Indians does not mean that black people are more racist towards Indians than other races. All of this reduces the importance of your points, which are ironically made in the context of racism.

Being from Ontario, I've been constantly discriminated against by Indians at work and in person, but do I harbor hatred for them or make threads on ktt? No. Stop being a moron.

you could literally compare black people with native americans these broad comparisons. everyone's a "tightknit" community, everyone has "strong religious ties," everyone has vibrant culture. and funnily, everyone has been exploited by white people, including whites themselves.

indians don't share the same country with black people, they don't speak the same language, they don't share even remotely the same religions, they don't have similar food or fashion. what are you talking about dude?

  • Jan 5, 2024

i think some black people are jealous of their (indian) financial stability and tight knit family groups whereas the family isn't as tight knit in alot of black communities and the financial stability is nowhere near as stable in black communities as a whole (uk perspective)

  • Jan 5, 2024

I can't lock this, but I learned a lot from KTT, I guess this was very "anecdotal" whatever that means I guess I just need to realize that racist will be racist

Keep it a buck!!! Nine times out of ten Whenever a black person sees an Indian person, their first instinct is to write them off as SMELLY, BOOKISH, UNAMERICAN, and GAS STATION AFFILIATED!!!! Those Indians are then mocked and are SURE AS HELL not seen as potential sexual partners!!

    Nav is not enough!!!
