I noticed it’s usually just a hatred for ignorance but idk. I just know all my Indian friends families mainly employ black people and other Indians

it’s indian history of castism and colourism carrying over to racism where the untouchables in india who were usually dark brown skinned are looked down and spat on by lighter brown indians, look at bollywood and you’ll see an over representation of light brown skinned punjabis (this might be outdated idk much about modern bollywood). Black people darker skin is translated to indians that still uphold the views that i mentioned at the start (implicity or explicitly) as inferior

I feel you and I truly believe it still exists, you can especially hear it in how their kids feel comfortable with certain jokes about black people. I was just speaking from my experiences with Indians around me, they tend to be good people who don’t fall into the bigotry
