Jan 24Why can't companies or celebs simply say, "If you don't like what I have to say, then don't buy my product."
If insert billion dollar company does something that offends people, and a group of people get upset, those groups of people will not hurt the company. "Go ahead and be mad. We'll still be standing."
It just seems like companies and celebrities are always having to bow down.
Why can't a celebrity say, "I'm already rich. It really doesn't matter if you dont see my movies or buy my music anymore. I'm not hurting."

Not always. It’s PR. The risk/reward just isn’t there. Like when Beyoncé changed the word “spaz” in a song. Do you risk alienating your fickle fans and lose love admiration and money? Or do you just change the lyric? It’s a lot easier to just give in
