Nope.
You literally enter every Drake thread to post some contrarian bullshit. When it happens so many times you start noticing.
Post the receipts on Drake saying he should have cut scorpion down for critical acclaim tho
I've praised him many times. You only notice when I criticize him because you're a d***riding drake stan. That's all there is to it

We'll see if that's true when you fine the timestamp lmao.

Hes never gonna find it lol
Dude was talking out of his ass
how to get critics to love you
Drake goes against all 3
Hes never gonna find it lol
Dude was talking out of his ass
Literally all he does is b**** about Drake stans and Drake section lol.
Look how he entered this thread even tho this thread was originally made in MUSIC sxn
Critic scores do matter, no matter how much this section tries to downplay them. That's why people in this section were celebrating when More Life had a 80+ score on MetaCritic before the final review came out and bumped it down to 79
And then in the Travis Scott thread lol
Tbh Drake stans were saying Toosie Slide would stay at #1 for a long time. It barely lasted a week
This is why there's no point in hating on bundles (looking at you, insecure drake stans).
Go on a site like albumoftheyear or rym and look at the ratings they give him. Nothing worse than pretentious white folks that think they’re authorities on hip hop.
Biggest in the game, the nonstop W's compared to the artist that they like... typical Stan s***
ill never get it, dude makes amazing music but is the corniest f***ing celebrity i have ever seen but honestly u can't talk s*** about his music
His peers acknowledge him as one of the greatest to do it but the critics hate him. They hate J. Cole too, I don't get that either.
I think the issue is that Drake makes different types of music and tries to connect them to make an album which results in massive commercial success, because admit it, no matter how much Twitter hated Scorpion, almost anyone can pick out at least 10 songs that they'll really enjoy and they'll simply not revisit the songs they didn't enjoy.
Critics don't like this though, they want to enjoy most songs which is fair. That's why NWTS was met with critical success but in the streaming age, it wouldn't move as many copies.
Scorpion on the other hand was very divisive, I really like about 16 songs on there but 16/25 is a 64. I think it's impossible to make an album with 25 songs with less than 3 skips for MOST people. 12 songs on the other hand, I think we can all agree on 12 must keep songs from Scorpion to make a solid 8.5 - 9 album, does it move 730k first week though? Not a chance.
Drake has a diverse fan base that likes him for different reasons, some prefer his rap song, others pop song, some rnb. He will never please everyone. I personally like all aspects of music. His versatility is why is the best among his peers.
I think the hate him cause he isn’t American and doesn’t cultivate industry relationships with music media. Other label will suck up to the cthadogs and Rosenbergs of the scene
When you’re as vulnerable and transparent with your emotions towards women you’re bound to get picked on and called ‘soft’. That goes for real life and music, especially if you’re a superstar. As for the critics, I genuinely feel drake doesn’t fit their ideal image that they envisioned for the best rapper in the game so they find things to pick at
Hes never gonna find it lol

Since you wanna talk about people looking funny in the light, where’s that time stamp at anyway @jet_li
He doesn’t make weird avant-garde experimental music for white people
unfortunately.
Cuz if he diiiiiiid.... boooooiiiiii
