niggas that trust hht for music opinions have the worst takes in music
i think a lot men music focus on heterosexual relationship/sex alot which something that gay men can't relate to. Its harder for them to relate. They also correct women make better music generally
As you know, I'm one of the users that mostly listen to female alt artists, but i disagree. There's many great female artists killing it right now but males have dominated music for decades.

i think more recently yes but yeah if we talking the history of men obviously been dominated for various reasons

Let me ask you this, how many female artists are you in top 10 all time?
maybe in aus but that didn't even chart in the US. It should have though
the first #1 hit was a connie francis song in 1960 lol
I can't really say this s*** bc I don't have any pass to speak on LGBT culture amongst ppl I know, but this is the same s*** I've been peeping and complaining about
there's at least 25 gay artists better than Nicki or Ariana, and they EAT that market share up

there's only two on mine and one of them is a band led by a female singer. which is interesting, because 75% of the music I listen to today are by female alt pop artists lol

its your gf rubbing off on you
honestly i think their isn't as many women musicians generally compared to men history and then to be critically received is extra rare
i reckon this newer generation of zoomer listeners going to be much more willing to check out female artist thus having them as their fav oat. this could even happen to me
lmao it’s crazy this thread popped up. i peeped this earlier today and checked the comments and the thread title was the consensus
I listen to women’s music more than “gay artists”, but not more than “straight artists”
Isn’t it odd how I have to put quotes over both of those

lol s***, if anything i'm the one putting her onto all of the fem stuff
you have a valid point. back in the day a lot of men would listen secretly and be ashamed of it too
